These four people have been a huge part of my life for a few years now. Jenna and I became closer than close in high school, and I don't know what life would be like without her! Her husband Brandon, well, he's cool I guess. (Kidding... he's one of the craziest dudes I know, and of course now a great friend too.) Together they've started an awesome thing called Harrison Collective (www.harrisoncollective.com), and I just can't stop telling people about how crazy talented they are. Jim and Dee, Jenna's parents, are like family to me too! They have done so much for me over the years and are such a blessing. It was such an honor to do their family session! Love you all :)

Candy | senior
Long time, no post... somebody slap me! No, please don't. But seriously it is pretty sad how badly I've done the past several weeks. With a new job, updates to my [phantom] website, and so many other things going on, I could have plenty of excuse to fall behind – but NO MORE! With that, here is Candy (sister to Leo & Ashley), a sweet girl with a great future ahead of her. We had a fun time this fall driving around Minneapolis finding places to take pictures. We even ran into her old school, and got a chance to take some nice shots on her old stomping grounds. Wishing you luck finishing your senior year, Candy.

Chris + her boys | family
Chris and I got to really talk for the first time at an extended family reunion this summer... yes she is part of my family and I don't know that we've had a conversation before! But I'm glad that changed. She told me that she was planning to go on an African safari in 2012 (jealous), and wanted some advice on buying a new camera. She probably learned quickly not to get me started on cameras :). Enjoy these photos of Chris and her sons, Nick and Connor!

Ashley & Leo | wedding
Ashley has been a good friend of mine for a few years now, as I mentioned in last week's post. It was really an honor to have her and Leo ask me to do their wedding! Ash is a photographer also and has some awesome dreams of what she might do with it. Leo I'm just getting to know better, and from what I can tell he's a great guy, and is completely in love with Ashley. Which is a plus :)
Their wedding was very small and intimate, and under a willow tree. Totally beautiful. And at the same time as a marathon going on near us. Totally hilarious. And talk about memorable – I informed Ashley that everyone was really cheering for her and Leo, not the runners.
Ash and Leo, I truly can't wait to see what exciting things are going to happen in your lives together.
